Yes Home Depot Lowes sells various lengths. Cut to size with a hacksaw. They will even cut it for you in the store. They offer that here anyway. The originals we have here are 12" on a 22" bass.

Here's one for goofy and unoriginal, get some long nails and slip them in there.
I've done that!.....well, on a MIJ kit anyway...bonus; the nail tops prevent loss from falling out of the mounts during transport.

The ones I used were 8 inch nails, but there's no band of that name. :)
The 8-inchers worked probably cuz it was a MIJ 20" bass drum, not so much distance to cover...
