My hero, mentor, teacher and (oddly enough) look-alike, Bobby Columby on his now vintage, new then, white Premier kit. Bobby used to squeeze all the juice out of those drums!

Nice, however, that kit wasn't vintage when the video was made.Hmmmm

Nice, however, that kit wasn't vintage when the video was made. FYI

The OP said: "Let's see vintage drums in action."

I said in my post: "new then, old now..."

He didn't specify 'only new videos of old drums'. It's Bobby Columby playing his white Premiers (that kit is famous) and there are no modern videos of it in action. I posted the video that was available so people could hear the drums. What's your point?

Sit back and relax, Mark. Don't be such a stickler for rules that don't exist. Enjoy the videos the members post regardless of when they were made. It's all about the drums.... vintage drums, and Bobby's white Premier kit is a famous set of vintage drums. All drums were new at one time or another, but their sound doesn't change. I'm surprised you didn't comment on how great the drums sound instead of dropping a bomb on me over an unimportant technicality.

I don't have a video or screenshot, but in the FX series "American Horror Story: Freak Show" they're using a Ludwig Club Date in Blue Duco.

Don't like the music, but do like the kit. Looks like a 24/13/14/18 big R.
