A piece of history... worth it? Last viewed: 2 minutes ago
Seriously ... yes. Does rock memorabilia get much better? Folks who buy this sort of stuff just to say that they own it, ten grand is nothing.
Chris
reminds me... i have a washing machine that says "Buddy Rich's Snare" written on it in the EXACT SAME kind of duct tape!
ya think??
First time i`ve seen anything Bonham come up on ebay or anywhere for that matter.Assumming it is authentic and i believe it is-it`s going for cheap compared to what one of Page`s guitars would fetch. As a historical drum will it appreciate or depreciate as time goes by?Buddy Rich`s gear doesn`t seem to be fetching a ton and i know rock collectables are different than Big Band Drummer`s collectibles, but as time ticks by and younger collectors aren`t interested it would be fun to stick around long enough to see what side of the coin these investments end up on.Don`t think i`ll have the chance, lol.

Coming as I do from the guitar world, I continue to be amazed at how much lower the prices are on vintage and collectible drum items.
Re: what Wayne said, here's a guitar that Jimmy Page played, not in Led Zeppelin, not even vintage, that went for more than double that BIN:

Exactly. I think it was the Tama president who said that "drummers will play anything". Of course this is a valuable drum if indeed it's genuinely connected to one of the most famous drummers of the century.
