Yes, I want to know the snare story too. And the question we all want to know the answer to but feel we should not ask.

What question is that? Hmmmm

I will be posting many more pictures. Ludwig posted a few on their facebook page already yesterday!

Manny strikes again. Again, what an understanding wife you have :)

That's some understatement! lol - my wife was actually cool with my drum purchases while the kids were little. It was later after the three lots of school fees, uniforms and taking five people on holidays that it all went south. Now it's a strategic battle. I swear to you that the day I told her I was going to buy a brand new drum kit, she went silent for about 30 seconds and then said "I want to take the family on that cruise next year" I just had to admire that kind of comeback - it's so blatant and unambiguous. Love that woman.

Nice drums sir!

Yes, and I'm too polite to ask that question also...

The snare was less than $1k. If you guys really want to know how much it cost just call Hubbard music and speak to Mark :) That is all I am saying.

Mark did all the hard work in finding the wrap, getting with Ludwig to see if they would even make the drums and so forth.

I have to say that Wade at the Ludwig plant really restores my hope in the future of Ludwig. He is a passionate drummer that actually gigs on a regular basis. His goal is that quality will improve even more so than now.

To that end they spent $250,000. on a new CNC machine that will be drilling all the lines of drums they make. Currently it is only setup to do the Signet line.
