Hi Guys!

I'm really astonished for this beauty, and I´m a "click distance" to buy it.

I just wonder, if this snare worth what the seller are asking for nowadays.

Thanks as usual.

I have been watching that listing also. Nice drum.

The lugs on those Slingerleedys are attractive. I am sure they sold fewer Leedy badge drums than comparable Slingerland badged drums, so they seem to be less common.

In spite of my desire, I don't want to pay $400. I would be interested at $300.

Those lugs are possibly the most beautiful lugs ever created! This wrap is a fairly common color in that time frame. Matt's price is good, somewhere between 300 to 350. If it were, say, red-ripple, then add another $100 for Leedy/Slingerland, that wrap with those lugs look sharp.

Red Ripple in Rogers actually subtracts $100. lol

Harold - It's a gorgeous example. If you -really- want the drum, then pull the trigger before another drummer who wants it more comes along. You can either be happy with a drum you really wanted, or you can regret losing it to somebody else because you procrastinated... your call.

It's not so terribly over-priced. If you really want the the thing, I say snag it.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I did a reasonable counter-offer, let´s see what happens...

Thanks John for your encouraging words, I´m 100% agree with you, the problem is I'm totally overdrawn because of drums....electricit Laughing H

Tht price is at the high end of the customary prices that a nice clean Shelly Manne snare sells for. I have a Black Diamond Pearl snare like that one for my 1963 Shelly Manne Black Diamond Pearl set 20-13-16. I also have a 1958 or 1959 Shelly Manne snare in Pink Glass Glitter that I bought with a Champagne Sparkle Shelly Manne set 1963 set 22-13-16.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.
