I saw this on kijiji also. The Bass Drum and the tom that has the gray finish inside. Are they not 4-ply shells. I remember a similar kit on ebay a while back with the same grey finish and it was from the early 80's and the seller said the shells were 4-ply. Unless someone painted the inside of these ones.

I found an old ebay auction which is closed but the description of the drums is still there (No Pics). The seller at the time said the tom and Floor tom were 4-ply and the Bass Drum is 6-ply all with grey finish inside. Same as the tom and bass in the above pics. Check it out. Click on the view & bid Bottom. Sorry If this is not suppose to be posted here I'm just trying to help.
