Rogers BD Lugs and ATLAS Mount Do Not Work Last viewed: 22 hours ago

Loading...

Not quite a vintage post, but it is about Rogers BD lugs and the new Ludwig Atlas Mount.

I was going to remove a lug, and try an Atlas mount with a rod for a cowbell off my BD.

Rogers BD lug spacing is 2 5/16. So it won't work.

FYI, The Atlas maximum hole spacing is 1 3/4" C to C.

The spacing is adjustable, just not big enough for Rogers.

So the Atlas is back in the box and I am looking for a new way to mount my CB.

Perhaps an old school clamp post off the hoop.

Just thought you might like to know about the lug hole spacing on the Atlas before you go out and buy one for a vintage kit with wider lug spacing.

BTW, It is a nice, solid, well machined product.

Costs a bit too.

Get a DW hoop claw. 20 Bucks and it's by far the best way to mount a cowbell, among other things (IMO).
