Interchangeable Parts for Slingerland? Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Floor Tom Leg Mounts: Does Ludwig, Rogers, or any other manuf. work with 70's Slingerland Drums? Needless to say I have been having a hard time finding (affordable) legs and mounts for my 16" Floor Tom I am putting together.

If anyone knows, please let me know! Thank you !!

The legs take a 9.5mm mount.. people like Jammin Sams will have them, early Ludwigs fit too.. but neither look like Slingo's.

Cheers

How much is "too expensive"?

Outside of collector-bait stuff like Buddy kits and Radio Kings, I've always found Slingy to be the cheapest when it comes to vintage drums & parts. Player-grade kits for Pearl Forum money all day long.

It's the FT leg mounts that seem to sell for fairly big money. I thought about swapping out my push button mounts for the later wing screw mounts for gigging but they seem to sell for $40+ each ($120+ for a set). Apparently these mounts were prone to stripping out, too.

Strip out they do.. Some Guys on here have Retapped, Helli Coiled, etc though...

That's fine if you still have them..
