Rogers Big R Wood Dynasonic

Loading...

Unfortunately, I'm in need of some cash, so I'm going to offer up my beautiful 1983 Rogers wood dynasonic snare drum here before I put it on ebay. The snare is all original and in great condition. There's not much more to say other than it sounds fantastic and they are hard to find. I've been told they range from $500-650, thanks.

$475 shipped in the USA.

Shouldn't there be green felt pieces under each lug?

I do not know what the badge number is on this drum.

However, later 82 into 83 seen a change from the green felt to black, with both being used simultaneously for several months. Judging by the pictures, this drum is the genuine article. No dampener also, which could mean a later drum, or a drum ordered without dampener. If this is an RD six digit badge, I would like to know the number.

That is a 1983 later number.

These snares have excellent level edges, with that classic Rogers modern edge. I have two eight inchers in the D114xxx range

Is my price fair?

It is consistent with the past several drums in this size I have observed on ebay over the past year or so. I think it would be disingenuous to call that "un-fair."

I have a bid in on your auction. However, there is a problem. The current high bidder just now screwed up an auction I was high bidder on, (I had full intentions of increasing my bid amounts), then he retracted the bid to an amount greater than the price of the auction was, but less than the amount necessary to go over my bid. This 0 feedback bidder is now bidding on and cancelling bids on your Dyna.
