Hey thank you guys! Ya Robyn has been a real good buddy by posting the sound file for me. She is going to do one more with some pics that I took of us at the studio. Thank you very much for your nice comments, actually that Alice Cooper song we just changed it from 18 to 50 for a birthday party last fall. To me it was the worst track, so Robyn is going to post another one for me that I think is better. Rock n roll !
Sounds good, Jeff!! Off to a great start!! Will you be doing anymore recording?Great work as well, Robyn!!Cheers
Thanks Wayne!
Well, now that we have a connection and left a mighty nice tip to the students that were recording us, you just never know. But first we need to get down a few more tunes, we only know about 8 or 9 songs and the five that we recorded was really by the seat of our pants. But this has been a very good experience for us, main lesson learned is that we can do this, we can be a good band, just keep working at it.

You hit the drum on the head...Keep at it and you`ll only get tighter as a band...I`m Rod, BTW...LOL!!
Cheers

Oh, I am sorry, I got mixed up there.
Thanks Rod!
Robyn, your drums are going to sound much like mine with those Evans heads John is sending you. I made my choice by watching a video on one of John Bonham's kits. He used Emperor batters and Ambassador resos, so thats what I went with.
Now, we need to get one of these sound files of your drums when you get them all up and running.
added a cupl more to my original post, go check 'em out.
I`ve got to say Jeff my man...you played your butt off on those last two tracks!Three weeks to prepare for this session and a band barely a year old-what`s going on here? Very tight playing with the arrangement and could really hear the tone on that miked up kit on your endings. That kit ROCKS BIG TIME !!! Please always hang onto those Luddy Zebras- they are one of a kind thanks to you Jeff.

Once again Good work Jeff...
and Hats Off to Cecille B. De Robyn...
Cheers
Robyn you are very creative! Im glad you posted that song but the way you made the Luddys come to life was awesome. I myself had forgotten just how rough they were and I look at the finished job and think wow, those are keepers!
To everyone else, we did actually have an original song recorded also. It is a basic 12 bar blues rhythm that our singer put some words to and the guitar players made up some lead parts. A song about a man who recovered from drugs, got of jail and can live his life drug free. Not much fancy drumming on it but its a fast beat on the hihat. We had to do about four takes on it and man my wrist was like rubber and I was loosing the grip on my stick, I dont know how I made it through the song.
