Extremely rare, especially the snare. Wonder how GC got their hands on it????
I wonder who broke the rack tom ? Follow the crimp on the hoop sit`n on the FT. That`s why the top two are leaning. I don`t think the adjustments are supposed to go below the knobs. SONOR made this type of kit too.

Yeah. Something just not right about that.
The Hollywood store is WAY overpriced on almost all their drums.....check it out....
Besides the tom rim being crumpled, these sets are almost unplayable because they're so fragile.
They're not "extremely" rare either. I've owned three outfits over the years, and I've seen many more.
It's about 12K over priced also.
And why would you want a reminder of what pretty much killed Leedy?

BEC, if anyone would know it would be you. Thank you for correcting me! I was going off of what George at Rockin Robins in Houston told me, they have a set in a glass case. According to George they are very rare, but it is is possible he made a mistake or I got my story turned around.
That and Bud Slingerlands indifference certainly put the last nails in the coffin. The discription states that Leedy made "everything" they sold. That's not.......quite true..But 13 K.....good luck with that.

George isn't wrong, complete four piece sets are rare, but, they show up regularly. The problem is not finding a set I think, but getting rid of one!
I had a gold sparkle set in the 80's and it took Charlie Donnelli 6 years to sell it for me.
