Rogers Red Onyx Londoner Last viewed: 52 minutes ago

Someone should check out this kit if they are nearby and do it for the team even if not for yourself.

Rogers red onyx Londoner 22,12,13,16 with some cymbals, Ludwig hat, Rogers sta-tite snare stand, swan leg cymbal stand and Rocket pedal. Price is $1399 for all. I tried to get that price down a couple of months back without success. It is difficult to do in the Guitar Center world, as many of you may know. Shipping is free to your nearest Guitar center. I've done that a couple of times in the past.

On the other hand, if you're standing there in the showroom showing cash, that always seems to help. Cool Dude

If in good condition with all the extras, it would still be a good deal if you are looking to own a Rogers red onyx. I think I did clarify it is Dayton speckled or early Fullerton with machined hardware, but you'll want to confirm that. I also believe they said the wrap was without cracks. Location as follows:

Brookfield, WI 53005

I've been told shipping to your local Guitar Center is NOT free. Does this vary by store? I'm unclear on that. Would be nice if a snare was included in this deal. Thanks.

That actually seems like a nice deal. 22" Rogers kits are pulling good money right now.

Website says free and I've done it once from Dallas, Texas to Worcester, MA and another from Kansas City to Danvers, MA without issue. In addition, there was one on which the description was inaccurate and they gave me a $50 refund. The kit was actually really well priced, but I had to rewrap the bass drum entirely because the crack was described to be only in the bottom and actually extended a good distance up the side. So the $50 deferred that effort a bit. However, all-in-all it was a very good buy and this one is too if the condition is good and you can shave the price a hundred or so.

True! And that bass drum alone is worth $350, and the FT $250, and each mounted tom $150. So how do we come up with $1399 for the whole set? Those cymbals must be something nice.

I cant see what the snare stand is, but if its a sta-tite, depending on condition, we're looking at least $200+, Hi hat stand, 125 + (if it has a Rogers clutch), foot pedal, $75

and cymbal stand, if it has a removable tilter and in decent shape $150+

....and then you have the drums and cymbals.

A very fair price if everything checks out. I would want to see them in person.

OK mcchair, you're tracking:

$900 for the drums

Cym stand - 100

snare stand - 100

pedal - 50

hat - 50

hats and crash - 100

Looks like there's a tripod seat (seat part only showing) - say 25

I'm at $1325. So, as I said, get a $100 or so off the deal if you're standing on the showroom floor and it's in good condition and you want/like/been looking for a Rogers Londoner in red onyx with the 22 bass (they don't show up too often), and you're in good shape too. So clearly worth a check if you are in the neighborhood.

My friend is a manager at G.C. and he is gonna look at a few kits for me. I can tell him to look at this one also. He is a good dude and runs a studio also on the side.

PS - One thing that tells me it is either a Dayton or early Fullerton is the location of the tone control on the mounted toms. It's in the location that usually indicates there will only be one script logo on each tom, which also tends to date them to a certain degree.
