I`m curious here as to know how hard these stands are to come by as it is my understanding that they are very rare.My 68`Rogers stand is built for the spring loaded Rogers timbales attachment(Humberto Morales Model). It may even have been made in 67`as i bought it on Oct. 31/68 and i understand these were only made in 1967.Also what price range would this stand fall into? Thanks for any help here and Cuco... i would really appreciate your knowledge here if you see this thread. Many thanks...

Yes the Humberto Morales timbales were only made in 1967 and the Rogers stock of them may have over flowed into 1968-69 and soon after it was stopped due to Humberto's death. The stand is more valuable than the drums today and simply because it can't be found. Something that I do not under stand what people have done with these stands you find sets of Rogers timbales but no stands haha. You also have JP2 Creations that owns Rogers parts and he does not make stands. Yet this stand is easy to make but you need a machine shop and again it becomes expensive. A complete set of Rogers timbales and in mint condition you can get between $700-1000. Know when I say complete and in mint condition this means no dents, missing parts, broken parts, the cowbell mount alone will cost you an average of $150.00 if you can find. Rogers Lugs you have to look into carefully because the crack. with this said sets that are severely damaged are worth between $200-300. The work that that is needed to bring them back will cost you more than they are worth. The Prices of bringing them back to life If Chrome; if Chrome is peeling off to replace the Chrome on a shell $250-$300. per shell if Brass to re polish and lacquer and that is if no rust $350.00-$400. So be careful in what you buy it can become expensive and not worth it.

Cuco, thanks very much for getting back to all of us with our questions and much needed info. When you say a complete set of Rogers timbales are you including the stand also? I am assuming so but just wanted to double check with you.Complete set=both timbales, stand and cowbell mounting system-is this correct? Also one of the reasons there are so few stands is because you have them all,ha. Thank you Cuco.
