Does have anybody have an idea on what year this might be?? It's pre serial number but lacks a date stamp. I've seen them both with the baseball bat muffler and the knob. Is that an indication of the year? Or was that more of what they had laying around at the time type thing?

No serial numbers dates it from 1960-1963

OK that's what figured. I thought maybe the knob adjustment on the tone control might be a clue.

I'm certainly no expert but I think they used the small knob muffler then went to baseball bat muffler (red and later white) and then went to the large knob muffler. I suspect your drum is 60-61.
