Assinines that do this sort of thing should never be allowed to own a vintage drum and i wish there was a way of enforcing that. What was once a top of the line dyna in beautiful condition and in my favourite wrap will fall to the 'part out butchers' now.Very depressing in deed...

Since I try to be optimistic about life (and it's a struggle some days) I will say this: I hope this drum goes to a sincere collector (I'd buy it myself for $1000) who gets it patched professionally and then - plays it. Believe me - the audience will never see the damage - but they will hear a 6 1/2" wood dyna and that, my friends, will be a Sermon On the Mount. $00.02
