the bd mount is too new,it actually looks like a monroe badge 90's the badge does not look clear to see if im correct, the snare pioneer, drum look good, we need more pics the tom is clear interiors need more pics

check the scarf joints in the shells. Ludwig installed the wrap into the shell on that era drums. if its a rewrap, that wouldn't be present.

I have seen a few early keystone badge drums with the muffler and badge like that,not many though..

that mount on the bass drum is not early 60's.

the badge grommets look too big and too shiny.

don't recall see any pre serial kits in those very large sizes.

Grommets are too shiny and it looks like the badges are different types between drums. It could be the pictures, but grommets that old should have turned to a dull brass look. Since Ludwig applied the wrap to the wood before bending the shell, the floor tom should not have two pieces of wrap.

Sorry, photos maxed out the allowed memory so i was waiting for a reply to post more. I only have the pics I've received from seller. I realize now that I don't have a good clear one of any of the badges, so I'll ask for those. Here are some additional pics.

Thanks for the input. So you've seen the two seams on factory wraps? I guess it might make sense that if the size was not standard, and they had alot of pre-cut wrap that they used, an 18" floor tom would require part of a second sheet.

I've asked the seller these questions from all replies and am waiting for replies.

Yes, I had it on my 67 Keystone 18" and I have it also on my current Slingerland '77 18". (Both factory) The seam spacing is similar to your pic at around 1 lug apart.

Though the double seam is correct for any drum 18" or larger,I'll bet what I have in the bank,to what you have in your pocket,that those are re wrapped.

Most drum wrap comes in 24x54 sheets,so for a drum that size,you have to use 1 full,and a partial sheet.The exception I think is with PVC wraps,which are made in rolls.

The grommts look new and untarnished,they also look a little too big,and the flare is too large also .The badge on the bass drum is actually crushed by improper "reinstallation" of the grommet.The wrap is just way too shiny.I have also never seen a muffler that close to a badge,nor that high up on a shell,that wasn't a snare drum.

Those sizes are also,though not unheard of,a bit unusual.

Un original late 70's,early 80's vintage tom mounts and a black plastic T bolt handle.

If you're not looking to buy a collector grade set,then I'd offer 500.To me,those drums are altered,and unoriginal.
