Well as fate would have it my other band is moving out of it's practice space and into one of my extra places. This means I will have to press this kit (it's the most ready to go out of my vintage lot) into service. I would really like to do a full pull apart and clean but it's in good enough condition where a quick detail will keep it looking great. Gives me a chance to work it out a bit and see how I like it.

The kit is all setup in my office. Right now I will be using my Benny Greb snare (actually played by Benny Greb in Germany at the Sonor factory) but I will likely use my Gretsch snare down the road. I did not get get to play much at all last night; I had to assemble my desk and chairs sans instructions.

I quickly wiped down the kit with guitar polish and a micro fiber polish cloth. Does this kit need a little cleaning - sure. I can tell the previous owner cared though because it has most of all its components and had some very nice heads on it.

Trying to avoid using the swivo matic tom mount. I think it might cause more wear on the drums then good.

Just beautiful ! I love that wrap . Just wow .

Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..

Thanks! This kit sounds awesome Jump For Joy I am so very happy with this kit and it is a keeper for sure. I honestly can't find a fault in how it sounds and the bass drum is killer. I picked up another hi hat stand, snare stand and stool today. Got all 3 for $80 off of CL. Now I have a set of hardware for each practice kit and one for gigs.

Had to move most of my other band's stuff into the office tonight. I think for this band I will mainly use my vintage drums.
