Wow....at least I know that what I saw was real.He had a mounted tom with his stainless kit,that didn't have mach lugs on it,but seperate large classics.

Anyone notice the ring inside the reso head on the natural maple kit, I think he was doing this long before Remo etc thought of it. If you cut out an old head around the collar it will fit inside the reso head and be sandwiched between the bearing edge and the reso head making a perfect muffle ring.

I know it works, I have done it on my thermogloss kit, he also did this on the green sparkles but not sure about the stainless kit.

Thanks for sending the pictures I believe Pat Bonham still has one of the Green Sparkles at home.
