Ringo Picture High Quality Scan? Last viewed: 4 hours ago

From thisbright14

It honestly has nothing to do with him as a drummer or the Beatles. It's for personal reasons that I'd rather not make public.

.... and now you got us wondering.

Is he related to Ringo?

Did he take that picture?

Does he own something that's in the picture?

Please don't feel obligated to explain. I'm just thinking out loud.

Did you try to contact Ludwig? They might have something in their archives.

Adam, Josh is one of those peeps that thinks this band or that band is the best, We all well at least most of us real musicians know there is no such thing, He is a Beach boys freak, and trashes the Beatles on any occasion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tH9zG28GQEg

Yeah REAL musicians know ... it aint about being a "freak", its about being able to differentiate. I dont "trash" the beatles, they were good for a few yrs but nowhere near the hype they got. George Martin was the man responsible and just because they couldnt do it was well as Brian Wilson , Bob Gaudio or Spector the hype machine brainwashed many to believe otherwise; aint a bad thing it just seperates the followers from the realizers or however ya wanna describe it.

HOLY GUACAMOLE! I'VE BEEN BRAINWASHED!

Well, I hope they used a good detergent, and handled the rinse water as a toxic waste...

There are MOUNTAINS,of written, wittnessed, recorded and credible evidence, that The Beach Boys, more So Brian Wilson, used plenty of studio musicians ,on multiple beach boys records. There are photos of Brian in the studion,FULL of non beach boy, studio players. Most if not all of the wrecking crew played on Beach Boy records.

There are signed union contracts, with song titles,as well as studio log books, all attesting to the same thing.

Yet ,over at Abbey Road, nothing like that exists, excepy for some horn and string players .Not drummers, guitar players, bass players or any of the like.

I too like my Beach Boy music, and have seen them live a number of times.I also Agree with Brian Wilsons genius as a song writer, and record producer/studio boss.

But to claim that the Beatles did the same thing, and then brainwashed everybody,is a claim that requires PROOF.Credible evidence.Photos, documentation, witness testamony.

It's not about what you can say,it's about what you can PROVE.

The above was in reply to "kookadams",..not you K.O.

No where near the "hype"?.The have sold more records then any artist on the planet, ever did,and continue to be a top selling band today.

That's not hype,...that's a fact.......realize that.

I KNOW THE BEACH BOYS USED STUDIO MUSICIANS! I NEVER SAID OTHERWISE? The difference is that the ones the beatles used werent credited. I know about billy preston and the horn playerz but Im talkinbou the session guitarists and drummers/ its very difficult to find out who played what on a hard days night, help, rubber soul and revolver BUT its easy to find out who played on pet sounds,, why that is I have no idea.

The only "session " guitar player the Beatles used, was Eric Clapton.who plays the solo on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" Between,John ,Georgs and Paul, there eere enough chops to get the Job done.

There were NO other drummers used besided Ringo, unless you want to believe that nonsense Bernard Purdie is selling.Again, with zero proof.

The reason that it's difficult,is because it dosen't exist. They all played their own instruments.Period.
