60s Ludwigs on ebay Last viewed: 1 hour ago

From surface

Way out of bounds for the price...If the kit was matched it is in the ballpark with NO ISSUES and clean. The 13" is from a Super Classic, and not even from an original Hollywood...thus the muffler bat arm facing out...the badge is facing you. Like I saw in the previous posts.......way too many red flags.Nevin

Wow, nice catch on the 13"... Never even thought of that (I just double-check my kit to make sure of the same thing! Lefty player here, but everything lines up).

Kits:
1966 Ludwig Hollywood Gold Sparkle Pearl 12/13/16/22
Star 3pc in Red Glass Glitter (1960's)
Snares:
1959 Ludwig Pioneer Mahogany
60's Ludwig Pioneer Gold Sparkle
60's Ludwig Acrolite (Keystone)
Ludwig/Custom 6.5x14
1960's Bolero (MIJ)

You really have to be careful on eBay. I'd be hesitant of buying any kit you really can't see in person. A snare is one thing, but a kit needs to be looked over by you. Just my .02

the kit has been relisted on ebay so he didn't get what he was asking, relisted it at same price tho. after reading your comments and looking closer at the photos i see all the red flags you all pointed out. but was also thinking if this guy had the right price on the kit i would nab it, it is perfact for what i am looking for, im looking for a project kit, one that i can do what i want with and not be such a big deal if i had to drill a hole or two, it has all original ludwig parts, they may not all be the same date but thats not that big of a deal for me. (makes me think of the johnny cash song about the car he built. it had a title 6feet long because every part was of a different date.) anyway this kit caught my eye becoz of the style it is and hardware it has on it and the sizes of shells. i'd be on cloud 9 with a kit like this. its a ludwig, what more do i need to say? lol.

ok so if anyone comes across something like this, please let me know. and thanks to all of you that have offered to help out so far.

Stay Wiggly,
Robyn
