What is this?

Recently I picked up a variety of snare and cymbal stands in a "package deal". At the bottom of the trap case that came with the sale was this beauty. Any idea what it might be? I'm guessing nothing more than a "frankenstein" stand put together by a prior owner with whatever he had left lying around. Love that "small" knob, though (lol)! Haven't seen one of those before.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I agree with Sanityclause-a "Giant Rogers" stand with a few fix me ups. With that tightening knob on there it wouldn`t loosen if you dropped a bomb on it lol...

THANKS for all the input. After doing a little research I believe that you're correct regarding a Rogers "Giant" stand. I removed the "Giant Knob" and the resemblance becomes even stronger.

FFR428 (Glenn): If you'd like to talk sale, please feel free to drop me a PM. Thanks!
