trying to make some space in the drum room and raise a little cash for a medical visit. have a few cymbals listed here for sale today. I dig them all. ive just got a bunch and these are duplicates of others that I have. i'll do my best to describe the condition and the sound in each and take proper pics of the cymbals and the stamps of each. accurate digital weights will be listed. I do not have the ability for sound files. feel free to pm me here or email to mikelayton@bellsouth.net if you have any questions. I will pack items nicely and ship promptly. thanks for looking...

20" avedis zildjian 20". weighs 2126 grams. stamp is 1.5" tall and has the three dots. should be a 60's cymbal. this one works great as a crash and a ride as do most of these that I am listing today. has one of the nicest sounding bells that ive heard. more tone and projection in the bell than many of my 22's. has one small keyhole crack that has been there for years as ive played it. hasn't changed any. has 2 areas on the bottom with some old tape and some residue on the top from some old tape. I don't clean or polish my cymbals. so this one has a nice natural patina to it.

$ 75 plus 20 insured shipping to the lower 48. actual shipping cost anywhere else.

18" super made in Switzerland. weighs 1118,paper thin! I think these cymbals were made by paiste. I cannot verify this however. I also believe its a 60's cymbal. has a very trashy sound to it. it has some bellhole cracks that I have shown in a pic. they were like this when I got the cymbal and have not spread. these one has one edge ding that I see. this has a distinct crash sound and holds a ride pattern pretty well. it is not been cleaned or polished and has that old school vibe to it.

$ 40 plus 20 insured shipping to the lower 48. actual shipping cost anywhere else.

20" avedis zildjian. weighs 2394 grams. the stamp is a three dot and is about 1 1/4 tall. appears to be a 60's cymbal. much of the weight is in the bell of this one. it rides and crashes nicely. the edges are thin and flexible allowing the nice crash. the varied lathing on the cymbal gives some nice different ride sounds. slight start of a keyhole and one edge ding on this one. once again, nice old natural patina on the finish.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Mike - (If you have one,) I'm looking for a 18" 60's Zildjian thin crash. Something bright, and explosive that cuts. I'd be buying that one!

Let me know if you have one in the stash that you're willing to part with.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

hard to choose. that's why I have them priced the same I guess. the lighter one crashes a little better and gets out of the way a little quicker. the heavier one has a nice crash to it as well. the weight gives it a little more volume in the crash. the lighter one has more wash in the ride sound to it.

I haven't had many 21's. I sold one to a friend a few months back. he loves it. I just recently got a new to me 21, but its a special one and will be in the keep pile. I do have plenty of 22's, but hadn't planned on cutting any of those loose at the moment. I seem to regret it when I do! thanks for asking though...if I have a change of heart, i'll certainly let you know..
