I'm assuming this is a 60's Ludwig Classic model. Can anybody give me a more accurate date/shell type and approx. value? Thanks!

I have a 1964 snare drum with a P-87 that I ordered from the factory, It came with a WFL P-87.

looks like a 6.5 with some brass hoops and a p87. most likely 3 ply. looks to be a Ludwig symphonic model to me.

depends on which snare but it has. that had a more conventional one and then one like you mentioned. got a pic?

Sorry that's the only pic. After talking to the seller and finding out that it was painted inside and out with a thick black oil-based paint I gave up and moved on. thanks as always though for your input ( :
