Is this a Holiday Ace or a Sound King Last viewed: 47 seconds ago

I just bought this drum and from the badge it looks like it is a 1959-1961 Niles.

It's a Hollywood ace and a nice one at that. The only thing that looks out of place is the tone control , I don't think it's slingerland. But one of the experts will tell you in a minute. None the less congrats on a nice drum at a decent price.

It is a Hollywood Ace and the tone control is a generic replacement. Easy enough to find the proper tone control. I see that the drum has already sold.

Great drum. I restored one from a disastrous state. Great drum, mojo to burn. A sound like no other drum I own.

Cool1 Nice looking Ace! Probably more like 65-67ish, hard to tell, but looks like the inside has the chocolate milk interior which would put it at the later end of the mid-60s. Excellent sounding snare drums, love mine!

Here's my Ace:

I thought that badge according to what I have seen on the vintage website indicates that it is between 1959-1961.

This is a 3 ply correct?
