OK.... HELP! (identification help needed)

OK... Its a LONG story, and you probably wouldn't believe it all anyway! But these just kinda "showed up" at my door yesterday afternoon. There are no brand markings of any kind on either.

The drum only has 5 tension rods, but I'm going to assume it should have 6. It is 12" in diameter and appr. 6" deep. I've not taken it apart, but it does appear to be 1-ply of mahogany, and there don't appear to be any problems with either hoop. It has a snare apparatus, but I doubt if it's complete.

The "hihat" seems to be complete and fully functional. The cymbals are 10" in diameter. Other than it being extremely dusty and the finish rubbed off where your foot goes, it appears to be in good shape.

These came from the same place that I got a couple of items from a couple of years ago: a bass drum w/painted scene and a snare drum (both easily identified by their "Ludwig" logos) from the 1920s. However, I can't find either of these in the catalog page scans from VDG.

Anyone help on identifying these and valuing these would be greatly appreciated.

The full story: A couple of years ago I was approached by one of the teachers at one of our elementary schools. She had heard that I "work on drums," and had some that had been stored in her garage "forever." She and her husband were cleaning out the garage, and wanted to just be "rid of them." I told her I'd look at them.

The next day she brought them to school. As soon as I saw them I knew she had a couple of drums that would bring some pretty decent money, which they did. I sold the BD as is to another Kansas VDF member (CIBdrummer) for pretty decent money, and he drove down here to pick it up (he also bought several other things, too). The SD sold on ebay for even bigger bucks.

The unbelievable part: She wouldn't take ANY of the profits on the sales. She stuck to "I GAVE them to you."

Yesterday, while watching college football, our doorbell rang. It was the same teacher, and she'd "found more drum stuff." So here I am with these... and she said they might find more!

The Ludwig Ludwig is it a 5x14" ? that is a 10 lug model.

Bill, I've got a 24 X 10 bass drum, that I believe to be a Ludwig 'Tango' model from the early to late 20's. At any rate, the bass drum has the same tension rods as your snare. The hoops on my bass also match the hoops on your snare. I think it's a single (maybe double) ply mahogany with maple hoops. If you don't have the catalogs, PM or call.

This was a budget line. The examples of these drums I've seen have not had badges.
