I know for a fact they do not have the cymbals any more. He told me his mom sold all of his dads equipment. including all the cars and motorcycles .
This is John with some of his super cool rides.
One of his most famous rods 'The Boston Strangler" ?, was originally bought&owned by Jeff Beck&was originally built by Roz Brizzio of Brizzio rods fame!.Also Roy Brizzio built 'Andys "T bucket" closed cab model T, this was sold on UK fee/pey bay 3-4 (or more) years ago for $10K GB (British pounds).More on his cars can be found by Gogling a site called 'rock stars&there cars", does ANYONE on here know WHAT model/series Premiers he's seen playing on here&what the sizes are? (or is it a Sonor Teardrop kit?),

I have already posted this pic but here is the history too that pic.
Rainbow Theatre in London, February 14, 1974* Harper's album Valentine was released on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1974 and featured contributions from Jimmy Page. A concert to mark its release was held on the same day, at London's Rainbow Theatre with Page, Bedford, Max Middleton (of The Jeff Beck Group) on keyboard, Ronnie Lane on bass and Keith Moon on drums. The live album Flashes From the Archives of Oblivion, recorded at that concert, soon followed. Bonzo had attended this gig with Jimmy and the photo proves he was definitely onstage strumming an acoustic guitar. However, as I recall his guitar was not miked up and his strumming isn't audible on the recording. * Robert Plant was also in attendance as MC for the evening. Setlist: 1. Same Old Rock 2. Male Chauvinist Pig Blues 3. Too Many Movies 4. Home and this is the video to that event. The Intergalactic Elephant Band- Too Many Movies. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrW-AVpsAz8[/ame]
Sir John Henry "Bonzo" Bonham is the reason I started playing the drums. My hero, my idol..........never forgotten, forever missed

that third pic is brilliant. pure exhilaration! What an awesome thread & thanks so much for sharing. wasn't much into Led Zepplin when I was younger, The Who for sure, but just really discovered how amazing a drummer bonham was after I started playing the drum kit. nobody compares rhythmically IMO and I like many here have been playing and listening to drums and drumming for decades. his syncopation, finesse, power, rhythmic sensibilities...unmatched.
Thanks again for sharing!!!!
