There have always been a few that join and cause trouble. We had some major blowouts with our member from China several years ago. We lost several members during that one. Lots of mud slinging back and forth. (That's the one that forced my name change to RS). There was Bunnyman and friends and that crap. A lot of bad stuff is attached to him and his friends because of his dealings with DFO and the threat to bring this forum down. For those of us who remember all that, it's still tough. Lots of new members don't know or weren't aware of it. We could go back and chew the fat on the Massachusetts group and the San Francisco group that locked horns and tore up this forum. That happened back in 2010. It's the same thing over and over and over on this forum. There's always some gunky waiting to push the crap forward.

Bottom line ... This forum is still here. Some great members left because of these guys and guys like them, and that's very sad. But the forum is still here going strong.

You gotta love the tenacity.

I missed more drama?

There should be a new forum rule.....

"ATTENTION: DRAMA CONTENT THREAD"

Must precede the thread title.

I keep missing these threads.

VDF = Home away from home... and regardless of the occasional troll, it's the very best drum forum on the Internet.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

LOL!

I think Tommy P should move the flame threads to a dedicated section. Title it- "VDF, the best of the worst of VDF!!"

Me personally, I don't mind the random forum brawl. It keeps it fresh, and sort of acts like the stock market when it plunges to correct itself. At the end of the day, grade school logic still prevails. Sticks and stones..........
