My band recorded some stuff and our guitar player ran everything thru Audacity to clean it up /make it sound better. Damn if it didn't work. I didnt think much of the idea until I heard the final cut. It sounded great.Thank GOD for those computer geeks who figure this stuff out.Now we have a 5 song demo to hand out to promoters and the other coffee house guys, that really sounds good. Anybody else out there use the Audacity format??? V

I have used it, but only to extract audio from some old band live video tapes.. Made some Cd's for the guys in the band.. Worked fine.. Handy software to have..

Excellent program! I've used Audacity to edit out sections of songs. For instance, I was only interested in the popular version of the Guess Who's "American Woman" and didn't want to hear the long intro with acoustic guitar. Audacity made it easy to accomplish this!

Hope you didn't edit out the last trailing vocal line as well ??
