Just missed these on C'list - afraid to ask :-/ Last viewed: 18 minutes ago

These were up on my local Craigslist for $450, including Zildjian cymbals of a similar vintage. They'd just been sold when I replied to the ad. Did I miss the deal of the century?

I was surprised these didn't sell instantly because, yes, that was a pretty sweet deal (really sweet). I saw those over the weekend and really had to exercise self control not to try to buy them (I'm about 100 miles east of Iowa City). If I didn't already have over 20 sets I would have tried to snag them.

I had weekend guests, so I didn't even see them til today. How much are they worth (now I'm just tormenting myself)?

ETA: I might have kept them to play, not just make a buck.

Not the deal of the century by any stretch; if it were they would have instantaneously had the VD green berets on it. BD's got xtra holes. Wager the 3 toms are where its at on this kit.

Nah, deals of the century come around about that often. Kits like this spring up when people who don't play are sick of looking at them & moving out of the way in the laundry room.

Nope - rail mount was shifted so that the 2 toms could sit together on top, Impossible to do so in original position,

just though I'd answer since I read it - chris
