The Ludwig rail consolette I've got on one of my pre-serial keystone-badged kits doesn't tighten the L-arm sufficiently to mount my rack tom.
I took a closer look at it and, unless I'm mistaken, the hex nut on the upper portion of the mount is a replacement. I thought that might be causing the problem, assuming that it wasn't applying enough pressure on the clip that holds the L-arm. I decided to pick up another hex nut. What I purchased was a replacement hex nut used for Ludwig mount P1216-D. I discovered that the nut was too large for the hex bolt currently on the assembly. Now I'm thinking that the hex bolt I've got might also be a replacement OR that the hex nut I purchased was intended for the rack tom mount but NOT the rail consolette. If anyone can tell me if it's intended to fit both the Ludwig rack tom mount AND the Ludwig rail consolette I'd really appreciate it.
If anybody happens to have either an "extra" correct hex bolt or hex nut for the upper portion of my rail consolette I'd love to hear from you. If you happen to know where I might be able to purchase either or both of these, I'd also like to hear from you.
THANKS in advance for your time and your help!
