Who's Got Drum/Music Tattoos?

Loading...

I wanted to start this thread a long time ago, but never did. Let's see them drum/music-related tattoos that you guys have. I know for a fact that I'm not the only one on the forum here who has a ton of tattoos. Here's a sample of mine...

Hey Aaron,

That's some seriously cool artwork! My favs are the chihuahua with the knife, the chick on the bass drum and that killer 'Dia de los muertos' Mexican style skeleton drummer. I'm 64, my tats are dark now and some are hard to see, but I love tattoos and body-art. My favorite style is traditional Japanese (Yakuza-style) full-suits.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Ha! Right on, John! I was waiting for you and Mike Layton to chime in here...I know he will soon enough! The chihuahua pic with the knife was a real pic...she was also wearing a tiny Sombrero!

whats up guys! my arms are covered. they are done much like your colorful arm aaron. they cover most all the areas of my arms but not fully covered in like a sleeve. I just really didn't want that. your stuff looks great. my chest is done, just a few on the legs, top of my hands/fingers, and a couple on my neck, few on the upper back now as well.

musically, my left wrist has a musical score that wraps around it. I have a large vintage microphone on my left arm. I also have a small tattoo on my left arm with a big head bald figure with a mic singing. have some musical lyrics in script on my left outer forearm. haven't done too much drumwise yet because I haven't figured out exactly what I want. I do have a gold Ludwig 60's keystone badge on my right upper arm at my shoulder. it has a bit of galaxy color around it. it has a 5 digit serial number. I had this tattoo done in sept of '11 when my wife's wonderful dad passed. I used his birthdate as the serial number. the serial number would have also been used around the time I was born in late 64. so, my wife loves it.

i'll have to get her to snap some pics for me and i'll post them.

From Purdie Shuffle

that killer 'Dia de los muertos' Mexican style skeleton drummer.

Good stuff Aaron! I don't have any tattoos, but my favorite is the skeleton drummer. I just recently received a gift from David Martin at the Chicago drum show. It was a J/M fiberglass shell that David spun some fabric into the shell.

Hey Aaron, it's not music related, but here is a shot of my dragon. It's gotten so dark over the years, it's hard to tell what it is anymore. 2nd shot is my 'Phoenix', (left arm) this one has a lot of personal meaning for me.

Here are my 2.The one with the notes is the first riffs from Toad. Ginger saw the tattoo and thought it was pretty funny that somebody would do that, but he liked it anyways. The drumsticks one was a birthday present from my wife.
