Nope, The round badge I showed you earlier can easily be converted to match your kit with the parts you have from the stripped drum. The hoop will cover the tack holes on the bottom. It`s undrilled for bottom lugs and legs.
But I've already got about 700 into it will it be worth it for another 700 for the floor tom and shipping? and will the newer lugs match the holes?
I don`t know how deep your wallet is but I do know how often a 16" ft in an exact match for your kit will show up for sale. That other drum is not even BDP. I don`t know that the hole spacing will be the same but even with the lugs different and the rest the same, your kit is still all matched Gretsch. How bad do you want the matching FT ?
ok one more wrinkle - it's not a Gretsch! I read the description and the seller says it's a walberg & Auge with gretsch hardware. What's up with that?

The Rocket lug Ended in 1950....so drum is at least 1949 or before !
I sold a 9 by 13 just like this...but tunable bottom head......on here last summer.......
And I still haven a 12 by 14 mounted Tom/floor Tom........BDP,no less..........
W & A.....got the shells from Gretsch....and W and A. probably made the lugs etc to trade for those.....they loved to trade!.......interesting........
If anyone is interested.......I would consider selling/trading my 12 by 14 Tom to put with this FT......
just add large BD.........

It might just be me but....is it fair to say that drums only need the batter head?
I know concert toms were bigger in the 70s than previous decades but many older drums only had batter heads correct?
And I've noticed that one headed snare drums can sound pretty cool too, even if they are very uncommon..

After seeing a one headed timbale snare I wanted to make a single headed snare myself and it came to have sort of a marching snare sound, I love the way it looks.
