My friend is selling this 13/16/22 WFL kit with late 50's badges (the snare is b/o Ludwig badge with a crappy replacement strainer and is of no concern). These appear to be mahogany shells, the bass has re-rings but I would think it would have a rail consolette instead of the post mount and the 13" tom has a 60's tom mount as well.

There is only slight pitting of the chrome (I don't think it's nickel hardware) and there is lift in the wrap at the seams. The insides of the toms are painted black, no date stamps on anything.

If anyone knows anything about the value of this kit or would suggest things that would indicate it's legitimacy, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am seeing so many things wrong with this kit,,

Let's start with the snare drum, you state the throw off isn't original neither is the butt end?.

the floor tom looks to have Ludwig standard lugs on it?.

The mounted tom has a non original tom mount on it?. The bass drum center post mount is not factory nor is it Ludwig?

Also I think

all the drums are all re wrapped.

If you can get it cheap?

He's got an offer for $250 on them now, but I told him to hang on in case they were worth more and that someone on this forum would know what these are all about. Thank you for your help on this.

Would you have any other pictures close ups of the badges, interior shell shots off all the shells, the throw off on the snare drum. etc?

I don't, he stopped by with them last night near dark and these were all I got from the side of the road. I can get him to take a few more of the shells and badges if you think that there is some value here.

Not interested in them really, I told my buddy I'd try to get a value then help him sell. I'll see if he can get a few more photographs and I'll send them to you for your expert opinion. Thanks again for your time!
