So what drum maker offered a 18-20" BD in 1937-38? I'm curious because I was watching 'Spies Of Warsaw' on BBC America and in a nightclub scene the drummer in the piano trio was playing one, along with a snare and what looked to be a 20-22" ride on a DW stand. Also, did Remo make a black reso head for that size drum back then?

Cool Dude

Never play it the same way once.

I hate lazy tv and film companies. One of the worst offenders of this for me was the film Angelheart set in New Orleans in the early 50s, the attention to detail in clothing and auto's was second to none.

In a scene filmed in a blues club the drummer is using a red metalic 1980s Premier kit. I would hazzard a guess that it would be harder to locate one of those in NO than a 50s U.S kit.

I shouldn't care............but I doViolin

There was also the re-occuring two tone brown car that kept showing up, I think six times in a two hour broadcast...

Hmmmm

Never play it the same way once.
