I just read an owner is looking to sell a complete but used, say`s in very good condition, Phonic Sound Machine, xk9212 kit. I was wondering if you may be interested? Seller says it`s in Bronze wrap, that`s a cool color !i

Way back in the 70's this drummer had a kit very similar to these. The sad part is that he played in a country band (at the Fireside Inn Vallejo,Ca).The only drums to get any action was bass drum,snare,hi-hat ,crash .Maybe once a nite hit would hit one or two toms.Keith Moon would have been jealous of this kit!! As a rule I had one or two beverages in me,if my memory is correct, the wrap was duco style.brown with a light brown middle.paint rather than sparkle.Bad ass kit !! V

I don`t think I could play them like that, it`s just a display photo.

I`d put the 16 and 15 over the 13 and 14, then the 6 and 8 over the 12 and 10, drag the FT closer and Bang, see ya !i

It`s now discribed as being rusty, $1700 (way too much) and in South Africa, I myself would now stay away from it. It takes alot to make Ferro hoops coated with Copper, Nickle then Chrome to accumulate rust.

It`ll probably get parted out. No longer preserved !i
