They should have the american pickers pick the hoarders people.

RE: Pawn Stars
Anybody ever see them sell anything in the shop?
Got a good hoot when Rick paid over two grand for a broken topped, no bridge, splintered example of a 1930's Martin tenor guitar after seeing the Martin label and thinking he's knowledgeable.
That tenor in mint original condition is worth maybe 1600 bucks. He'd have 4 grand in it easy. Pre-war Martin six strings are a whole 'nuther story!
I have a couple of friends, who actually work , producing reality T.V. This is for large companies, that have branches----called things like "factual television", etc. The big thing that is selling in television, right now, is sub-cultures. Television viewers are absolutely lustfull for the inside snoop on how other people live.---------some weird competition thing I guess and what's more , they are totally gullible, and the T.V. companies know it. ...anyway; it's all pretty much fake. The basic settup isn't, in some cases but the eventual edited story is sculpted for entertainment value. Some of them( Breaking Amish, for instance) are completely fake. Even the news, is fake anymore. Most of it is compiled, sieved and edited to suit a chosen perspective.
Yes, even the news is FAKE!
California has a fairly good take on fake! D' Drummer
