Ebay does the paperwork based on the information provided by the buyer and seller via the transaction records.
That might actually be worth the fee, depending on how high it is...

How much? Do you know?
Hi to all, I actually did this, a pop up came up and I clicked it, i listed my item for world wide selling , after the auction ended i invoiced the seller , it went to the shipper he collected the payment with local USA shipping charges, then they payed me with pay-pal once they received payment from buyer of course, I then packed and shipped it to there holding center and it had a id # for the transaction with global tracking and off it went I am still following the tracking # they gave me. I think its so simple! It's very sweet just watching the tracking and I did nothing. Now I don't know what they charged the buyer and frankly (my dear i don't give a dam) it must be reasonable or it would not work considering I sent a supra to Germany USPS and it cost me $165.us a year ago....a note just checked it was delivered ...
Nice! I am happy to ship globally... Glad it just got easier.Clapping Happy2

$165 to ship a snare to Germany? Thats crazy. I just shipped one USPS Express International for $78 which of course the buyer paid for. You can track and a signature is required to take possession.
It all sounds wonderful, but I'm skeptical when you sell an item through Ebay, your forced to pay through Ebay, and now Ebay will be handling the shipping. Maybe in the future Ebay can come on over and do some clean up and restoration work on the drums I'm planning to sell. Maybe then they will learn that a pearl wrap does not = drums made by Pearl!!!!
The only thing that would get me to consider this service is if it cost less than what Ebay final value fees cost on shipping. So in my case 13% of $78= $10.14. If its more, I 'll stick to the DYI method.
I don't think I'd want them cleaning them, but they could at least pack them up!
I shipped a Classic kit to Germany for $142....and the buyer was very happy with the cost. Then again, I don't charge for packaging.

Wow, did you pack it in a 30ft container?;)
As a rule, I pay between $70 and $90 to get a snare shipped to New Zealand depending on weight and size, sometimes a bit more if it comes with a case. I couldn't justify paying more than that. 7 to 10 days seems to be normal and tracking runs smoothly. So far no issues except for a Supra I bought off ebay that has taken longer than expected to arrive and the seller didn't provide a T/N. I'm sure it'll turn up though.
Whilst this new ebay service may be good it may also just be a way of clipping the ticket on a process that isn't as hard as some sellers think. At very least, there's going to be the extra shipping and handling to get it to their depot. USPS and NZPS do a pretty fine job on their own i reckon.

Ditto on all that, Andrew. It sounds like jaghog may have used something other than USPS. All the private companies (DHL, FedEx, UPS, et al.) charge much more by comparison. As do any of the freight/package forwarding companies I've ever heard about.
