I always thought they were stamped upside down so the logo could be read while the key was in the holder.

I bought a nearly new Camco snare many years ago that had the original key with no logo at all.

No, I was referring to the CAMCO logo that is stamped on the left ear of the handle (ebay auction link)...Normally, the logo is upright, (facing the adjustment end) not upside down...I'm not saying that this key is worth that kind of money, but, it is definitely worth something...You don't find these errors everyday...Cheers

No. But that's ok. And I already knew what you were talking about.

I never thought of it that way...Good point!! So, maybe then, the right side up logo keys are the keys that were mis-struck...Very interesting!!

Cheers

It's not that the logo was upside down. Camco keys were printed every which way but backwards! Now, backwards..ocmaC, now that might increase the price. My bids on the key had nothing to do with the logo being upside down.

Lol...Yes, a backwards struck key would be a rare one for sure...It seems that these Camco keys always command a decent price...Were you the winning bidder? If so, nice key!!

Cheers

The "aura" of Camco has produced plenty of suckers, just like Gretsch and old K Zildjians.

Never play it the same way once.
