hello everybody...greetings from the chicagoland area. i've been playing for about 25yrs. i have few kits and an assortment of snares/cymbals. it's always a pleasure to talk/learn from fellow drummers & super stoked to further my knowledge of vintage gear.

He probably would have if he knew how - always takes some time/trial and error for someone to learn how.

Here is some help if you have Windows 7 (and maybe other Windows?):

Left click on the file, OPEN WITH-----> Microsoft Office Picture Manager if you have it, Click on PICTURE----COMPRESS PICTURE. I usually select DOCUMENT------hit OK. Next, do a SAVE AS and name it......I usually put COMP in the name of the file to remind myself that it is compressed.

If you find that after that the file is STILL too big for this site to accept, then you can go back and CROP the picture before you compress it....and the end result will be a file of smaller size.

Now he has no excuses!

ALSO, he will be glad he lives in Chicago when the drum convention arrives.
