Nice try Kevin. That was 3 days after the first post. I was at that point, waiting to hear from Mikey figuring he would say" yes,you replied in time or sorry Bud too late"as were more than a few other members.I think that Mikey got a better offer where he made more money, no packing or shipping and all of us be damned.

Why?

Why would you still be thinking you were getting a drum with no confirmation 3 days later....??

As I stated before, as a seller, I would be contacting buyers to get their money by then........

he didnt send anything, he sent an email about wanting a drum, never got a response from mikey, never bothered to check the forum to see that mikey said all drums were sold locally, then proceeded to message various other people on here and started b!tching about it. and he wont let it go lol after all this he still wont let it go lolu missed out son, get over it!! lol

Show us where it says he sold them locally. If you can't, just sit on the short bus and wait for you ride. Stirring the s..t with mis-information does nothing and I defy you to post any message where I was *****ing. I think I PM'd 2 other members who showed interest in Mikey's original post and asked if they had heard anything. Funny thing in those pm's you never mentioned the local sale.

Believe it or else!

I did not send a penny to Mikey. I tried to contact him on 6 differen't occasions beginning within an hour(at least) or two(at most) of his original ad posting. I never heard from him regarding his ad one way or the other. I also never inferred that we had a deal. Finally, wondering how the folks who may have got any of these drums were progressing, I put up a post (#18) asking if anybody had pics. (figured somebody would have something to show off after six weeks)It was at this point that Mikey got very defensive and accused Purdie Shuffle and perhaps me of "making him look bad" (you figure that one out)

I don't know you at all. I do know John Velez. I could call John out out on a few things. So MickM. You call Mikey out simply because you didn't get a response to your emails??? then that moron crack reporter writes his tripe. Seriously you and John Velez need to grow up. Get over it you missed out simple as that!!! Mikey was co owner of OCPD a major drum company, he knows thousands of us drummers, he lives in southern California he has a very wide based selling area and group of people he sales to. He is also a member of other forums that I am also on, and in fact did place ads on those forums to,As he stated. So back to your statement, Johns post and yours do and did make a very loud accusation. Mikey has done nothing wrong here period. I have looked for various drums for 12 to 20 years to complete kits I have, it's part of the game of collecting.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Is there something wrong with that?

You sure didn't have to pay unless you wanted to.

I remember you b****ing about that at the time, and being very closed minded about seeing it any other way than the way you wanted to.

It meant a whopping 3 day difference in the shipping date, as I recall.

This thread surprises me less and less now.

Mick, maybe you should stick to face-to-face deals in the future.... YOU seem to be the common denominator in YOUR online shopping "problems".

Never really had a problem with anybody here, in fact I had no problem with you untill you started flapping your gums and not paying attention to what started the "bad" part of this thread. BTW I have 100% positive feedback on ebay too.

That's a choice not a requirement............

He's giving fair warning that if one chooses to use the Gift Option that PayPal protection would not apply.

And, if that meant so much to you, why did you do it anyway?

You are becoming an increasingly transparent and larger mass of convoluted rationalizations as we go along this path.

Are you sure you wish to continue? :)

Guys, guys, guys!!!!! SIGH.

Ya know, I really should peruse the FOR SALE section more than I do! Currently.. ( and in the past ) .. it seems to be where ALL the action is. Good grief. Anyway...

Gonna CLOSE this thread as it has entered diatribe territory, and whilst certainly entertaining.. it's not where any of us really want to be, yes? No? That said...

I've always maintained that I would make a LOUSY judge as I pretty much always see BOTH SIDES, with each side making excellent arguments. Course, we have been down THIS particular road before. I shall make the attempt to ferret out the what's what which may lead to a happy conclusion... or not. Impossible to say at this juncture. For the time being though.. PLEASE .. use PM's or "try" to handle this off site. Let me see what and/or if I can do anything to help. In the interim... BEST to all of you! I'll get the lights...
