I came accross one for cheap, it's 6 lug with Re-rings.

I think you mean Zimgar drums. I believe they were a MIJ stencil brand, but not sure who made them. Pearl? Star? Nice cast hoops!

You could be right, Zimbar is what i was told tho.

There are many fans of these MIJ stencil kits here. As far as your snare goes, I'll take one of these old luan shells over a modern steel shell anyday. Set up properly, these can sound warm and full. Enjoy it.

Yea i was looking at those post's AND the pretty heated disscussions goin on , seems to be a hot topic for some and i know this thread's in the wrong area.
