Need help dating this Rogers Snare Drum (Eagle Badge)

I acquired this bad boy with some old Evans All Weather Patent pending wood hooped heads on it. Some of the lugs were busted and I will be wanting to restore it. Someone also thought that the throw off is not the original. Does anyone have any info on this line? I figured it to be early 50's

Gary is right on the money.

I haven't seen too many Spotlite snares in Silver Sparkle, and I don't think I've ever seen one with a knobby mount on it.

What do the lugs look like? Pix?

Great looking snare. Question for Gary, did you restore the Holiday Brass 7-line I sold you?

Cheers,

John Z.

The fact is that Rogers drums did not waste hardware by loading every ordered shell with what was shown in their ads. Slingerland surely did'nt :-) I have seen so many mixed combinations of eagle badge/script shells with equally mismatched bread and butter or beavertail lugs and swivo/straight leg mounts to prove it. Kinda cool-sort of personalized.
