Found Bowling Ball Oyster Blue Snare, Pioneer, worth it? Last viewed: 25 minutes ago

I especially like Bowling Ball Blue, & also like Pioneers, but I wouldn't put out $500.

I may be of the minority here, but if the snare's in TOP condition, & because it's a rare wrap, 500 may be right on the mark. It wouldn't hurt to make an offer if you really want it. W/out pics, who knows?

If money were no object, I would be ALL over it. My offer is less than half of what he is asking, might be sort of insulting. :)

its really one of the deals that, maybe its high, but where is another to compare to? i had to shell out 500 clams for my 64 galaxy pioneer, but it is mint. i knew it was high for a pioneer, but i needed it to complete a kit. the next one sold for almost 800. a ludwig pink oyster pioneer was on ebay a few months ago. i offered the seller a grand. he declined and it brought two grand....

If you bag on it I might be interested - have to see photos though. I'd recommend offering 375 & see where that takes you - chris

Let me chew on it for a couple days. I have not seen pictures either, but I do trust the seller that it is legit.

This is usually where I bust out the 'trade plus cash' routine... usually gets the deal done. Yes Sir

That's where hoarding a bunch of drums you don't need comes in handy Laughing H

Anyway, see what you can do... It would be a cool drum to have!

Never lay 4 or 5 Franklins down without seeing free photos, ever. Even they lie, btw. I can't tell you how many times I end up meeting to make a deal & what appears great in pics doesn't speak the same language in hard reality.

Just a thought - Chris
