Remo makes them still. That's the same kit that Auto.Pilot started a couple of threads about. He apparently bought them, so that must be an old craigslist ad.
I don't know what Remo charges for their Trixon-repro head, but I believe one of our own VDF members custom tucks calfskin heads onto custom made Trixon-repro hoops. CTProPercussion I believe, same source who created those outrageous, spiked rope drums.
There are 2 sizes of those Speedfire drums. Remo makes the later( after 1958) size as a stock item, so they aren't too badly priced. If it was a custom job-----I could see a whopping price.
