Iron Cobra Jr. Help Last viewed: 6 minutes ago

Loading...

Hi guys!

I have been fighting my Iron Cobra Jrs. for too long now and I give up. I can't get the pedal to feel right, it feels like it's not sensitive enough for bop comping stuff. I keep messing with the spring tension and such, but no avail.

anyone have any ideas, know a personal sweet spot, or be able to teach me about how to find the spot that feels right.

Thanks as always,

Liatnor

I used to play a single spring Tama pedal for, I don't know, 20 years and was just so used to it. Didn't have much in the way of adjustments and I had to buy used "parts" pedals to keep the thing going. That didn't bother me. I sprung it tight and loved it. 4 years ago I switched to a DW; just nothing like new technology, I suppose. Why not consider an Iron Cobra "Sr"? Maybe a used one. GC has used ones for the same price as the Jr.

Sorry I didn't really answer your question, but maybe it's just the pedal.

PS - Not to hijack, but anyone know the age of this pedal?

Thanks, LongJohn. Couldn't remember when I bought it.
