Hi guys, I know you've seen me ask a lot of questions about these. I'm still stuck in an apartment but I might just be able to keep these now! But no matter what I do, I want to put them back together. So can anyone help me out with what kind of lugs I will need? I have lugs from a Yamaha, CB Percussion kit, Slingerlands, Camcos, and a few others and none of them fit the Ludwig holes. Which I guess go figure since I don't have ludwig lugs, but the holes for the lugs seem unusually small(as in smaller than all of the lug holes I think I have), but they also seem to be a little longer than most lugs, the lugs themselves that is. So smaller holes, but longer lugs I think if I remember correctly.

If I had them with me I would just look, but they're currently at my house and I do not have them here and won't until the weekend. So can anyone tell me what lugs and rods I might need to put this thing back together? Also if so, where would the cheapest ones be? I literally have next to no money to put them together, but if they're not going to sell I'm putting them together! Any help is appreciated!

IF I'm not mistaken, the "Mark Time" series used the Ludwig Standard lugs of the late 60s, or at least lugs that look like them... as these lugs were also used on some of Ludwig's Rockers as well.

So, with your description of the holes being closer together but with a longer lug makes sense to me, anyway. Where to get them? They show up on eBay from time to time. They came in two sizes: a larger lug for the BDs, and smaller ones for the toms.

Ludwig Standard,and Large Classic lugs have the same hole spacing.Some late 60's and early 70's Standard kits were actually shipped with large Classic lugs.

Then the hole spacing for the tom lugs is 1 1/4" (small classic lug: 8x12s, concert toms, and some marching drums) and on the bass drum lugs is 1 11/16" (large classic lugs: bass drums and 9x13 & larger toms).

And, at some point in the 80s the Rockers also began using the classic lugs.

So large ludwig classics from a vistalite kit would work then? For the floor tom and bass drum at least that is.
