Is this an acrolite? If so, what is with the finsish. Was thin gun metal finish stock or has this been painted.

that is one of the factory finishes on the acrolites. thats one of the last finishes, if not the last, before they went to the black galaxy acrolite.

How do these typically sound? Are they desirable?
They sound real good to my ears. From what I have read its the same shell they use for the supra's.
they sound great. and yes, that is the same shell as a supra.
