Hey Tom, Copping stuff off of You Tube is easy. Find the video/artist you want to see. At the top of the page, next to the web address/URL is a little icon. Click on the icon to highlight the address, then click, Edit/Copy. Come back here and write your post, then go to Edit/Paste and it will add the address for the video you want to share.

Here's the first one off your list...

I don't think Mike will get mad at me if I go off-topic for a second....

I made my living as a graphic artist/printer and I specialized in album covers, and at the time, CD packages. In 86' I worked on an album cover for the Kinks. It won a graphics award and the record company exec rewarded me by giving me three copies of tapes from Electric Lady Land! I had to sign legal releases not to copy or reproduce the material before he could share them with me. It was all kinds of stuff, Jimi jamming with Johnny Winter, working on songs by himself or with other musicians, a gold mine of unpublished Jimi. I especially enjoy the chatter, his conversations with other musicians that ended up being recorded as they simply ran tape. There is no bigger fan of Jimi Hendrix on the planet than me. I think Jimi was the most creative, most original musician of the 20th century. Bar none.

Back to topic... thanks Mike for letting me cut in.

I know - I'm old haha....but not that old.

I remember hearing this when I was 10 or 11 yrs old and thought it would be so much fun to play the drums like this guy.............the rest was history....for me.....I was hooked on drums...

I grew up with lots of great rock n' roll in the 50's and 60's and through the 70's but..

Just sayin....this one ALWAYS gets me moving....

Purdie, I am green with envy. I couldn't agree more about Jimi's originality (writing, playing, and recording). I also have a CD burner (ha, ha). Delane Lea Outtakes has some great stuff (maybe I shouldn't mention that). So much cool stuff, in such a short career.

Back to OP.
