From Purdie Shuffle

Finding a Gladstone snare and hitting the lottery have always been dreams of mine.BUY NOW - before the guy changes his mind. Refinance the house if you have to, but get the Gladstone!!!!!John

May I add, Gretsch Gladstone, still a great find but not of the Gladstone caliber type of find. This should be fun!

Gotta ask.................what did you pay for 'em? I thought those cymbals looked like Istanbuls.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Cheeses, Mary & Joseph... Those are 3-ply Brooklyn shells, 40's/50's era with Broadcaster lugs, single flange hoops, and a deep, 5.5" Gladstone snare. Oh, and the Istanbuls. Cleaned and polished up, you're looking at a (approximately + or -) $4000.00 kit with possibly another $2500. to $3000. in cymbals. $6500. to $7500. value total.

Now, how much did -you- pay for them?

Monster score dude. Wish it had been me! Congrats on a once-in-a-lifetime score.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Like, I'm so Jealous! 400 - smokes! Did, do, you feel a little bit guilty? You didn't counteroffer?

I'd wager the lighting's original. I had a 40's WFL kit that had one.

Congrats on the humongous find - Chris
