Is that a 14" ft?
Trying to make me feel even worse (if that's possible), are ya?

You're right Mike and I've certainly gotten more than I could have imagined in a fairly short period of time. I feel very fortunate to have done so.
it's probably being drilled for Pearl spurs and tom brackets as we speakEye Ball
And after he's done changing over the hardware, the first time poster after joining VDF will say:
Hey dudes my first time here i'm a metal deathcore drummer i'm 13 and i just started playing and i just scored a old school set of gretsch that needed a hardware upgrade and some old k zildjian simbols i played then as soon as i finished the hardware upgrade and a cracked all the simbols and bent the stands and floor tom legs
so my question is can i play metal on a gretsch kit and do i need a special key to tune it peace
The above was a simulation, and not intended as a factual post;)

Well, as fate would have it, I located the Gretsch kit that I missed out on by 2 minutes. Can you believe it? What were the chances of me getting a second chance at this one?
However, the gentleman who purchased the kit at the $100 OBO asking price has already sold the Rogers hi-hat stand (with cymbals) that was included with it. He got $144.95 for it, including shipping.
He's currently selling the Supra that was also included with the kit for $214.95, including shipping.
The kit itself is being offered at a price of $2,045.00, including shipping.
The good news? As his listing states: "Local pick-up is always an option"!
I've got a funny feeling that I won't be rushing out to take advantage of this second "opportunity".
